60 years as the leading specialists in Tablet Tooling

I Holland has its origins back in 1910 when Mr Holland & Mr Brewill founded their engineering business 'Holland & Brewill', but it was in 1946 that I Holland Ltd was founded to specialise in tablet compression tooling. The first 'hobbed' tips were introduced in 1964 in co-operation with another local company, & two years later they combined to launch the rapid expansion of the business which brought us to the current Nottingham site in 1970. In 2006, I Holland celebrated 60 years as the world's leading specialists in tablet compression tooling.

If asked what has made I Holland such an important influence over so many years, it is easy to identify all the features of the company that contribute to a product that has served our customers so well over the years:

• A manufacturing plant that can boast of the most advanced manufacturing techniques, robotics & automation to ensure the highest quality & value for money, while retaining the expertise to ensure the tool makers art is not lost.

The real answer is, of course, that it is the employees of I Holland that make all this possible. Over 60 years the company has built up an unbeatable resource base of expertise, experience & knowledge that combines to produce exceptional punches & dies, for every type of tablet press, for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical & confectionary industries worldwide.

At I Holland we believe our workforce is our single most important resource. Many of our people have spent most of their working lives in tablet tooling and developed a unique understanding of how to translate the needs & wishes of our customers into tooling that delivers outstanding performance.
