Our R&D function is focused on two core areas:

Product Development
- The development and application of treatments and coatings focused on increasing the life of our tooling resulting in improved value for money for the end user.

- The development and application of treatments and coatings focused on improving the performance of our tooling resulting in a greater product yield and increased profits for the end user.

We are continually investing in the development of treatments and coatings to address the following issues:

• Resistance to impregnation
• Improved wear resistance
• Improved corrosion resistance
• Improved anti-stick properties

- Bespoke component testing programmes

We provide a complete R&D package to identify and apply treatments as solutions to your bespoke requirements. We will work with you right from the initial tablet design stage by identifying any potential tooling problems that may arise due to the granules being compressed, for example sticking , corrosion, pitting or abrasion. We will then recommend a suitable treatment or coating from our existing range or advise on any development options transferring this into full production and taking the problem out of your hands.
